Had some thoughts on the news about Stone Brewing possibly opening a brewery in Europe. I didn’t agree with the guests about Europeans not liking our style of beer and Stone needing to brew beers they would like. I think the entire reason for Stone looking at the European market is because American style beers are becoming more and more popular world wide. Sure they may brew some styles specific to the continent, but I can’t see that being a main focus. As you stated, Greg Koch is a savvy business man and I am sure he recognizes that shipping our craft beers overseas impacts flavor and quality so why not brew it there.
Keep up the good work, I plan to leave comments on the first episode as well, which I really enjoyed.

Thanks for the comment, and I’m sure your right. This is a chance for American style to reach Europe in larger amounts. I think it would be interesting to see some old world style inspired stone beers. Thanks for listening.

Yeah, it’s a great place for pizza and beer, and the best part is it feels very family oriented. Thanks for listening.
